Mission: To support working parents by protecting the health and safety of children in child care programs we oversee. This is accomplished by:

  • Establishing and assessing health and safety standards.
  • Training and supporting providers in meeting the established standards.
  • Providing the public with accurate information about these child care programs.



Proposed New Center Rules Proposed New Center Rules Proposed New Hourly Center Rules Proposed New Out of School Time Program Rules Annual Background Screening Fee Effective July 1, 2017, the annual background screening fee will change from $15.00 to $18.00. This is based on a decision made by the legislature during this year’s legislative session.
